Deepen Your Experience of Lent: Organize a Sacred Art or Iconography Workshop
Lent is a time of reflection and introspection; sacred art or iconography workshops are a powerful way to assist participants in the process of deepening their faith in preparation for the Resurrection. The use of sacred art or iconography in meditation is a proven and time-tested method of reflection used by the church for thousands of years. From early catacomb Christians to Medieval Monks to the Desert Fathers and Mothers, sacred art has been used to help the Christian expand their faith and dig deeper into the Scripture forming a more holistic spiritual life.
Each student will receive the following at the Lent Sacred Art or Iconography Workshop:
